A 3mile run from St Martine de Re, in the most beautiful setting on a secluded beach. I couldn't have asked for a better way to start the day. Managed to do my first unassisted headstand as well! santhoshft photos downloadClearing up my deadlift confusion. Hope this helps many of you! Here I made a comparison video doing pause conventional deadlift and pause sumo. When I started doing both from of deadlifts, strength gain from both lifts were similar but had to do more mobility work for sumo. Since I started doing narrow stance squat, it was hard for me to decide deadlift stance because squat stance width and deadlift stance are closely related( regardless of stance pain/injury free lift must be our 1st priority). Narrow/moderate stance squatter can get equal advantage from both form of deadlifts . But those who do wider stance squats gets more advantage from convetional deadlift(this is an excellent tip which I got from Bret and Johnny's YouTube video). In the beginning I didn't feel any difficulty to lockout both lifts. But progressively conventional lockout was bit harder for the Max out efforts. Also I could do explosive lockout all the time when I pull sumo. So decided to pull sumo as my primary deadlift. I will use conventional form as my secondary/variation lift or I can use it again as primary when I apply phase potentiation in to my periodization. This will make your pelvis tilt down to the opposite side during the stance phase of walking. To combat this, you should strengthen your hip abductors. A simple and effective way to do this is to do side lying hip abuctions.How To Do a Side Lying Hip Abduction:1️⃣ Lay on your side with the hip to be worked on top, knees straight and feet together2️⃣ Make sure that your whole body is in a straight line, and that your top hip is directly on top of the bottom hip3️⃣ Raise your top leg as high as possible without rotation of your pelvis. All the movement should come from your hip joint4️⃣ Slowly lower it down again5️⃣ Repeat for 3 sets of 12-15 reps.A common mistake you want to avoid is to roll your pelvis backward, which will involve more muscles at the front of your hip.
